Course materials of William F. Reynolds, 1951-1976.

This collection documents course work done by William F. Reynolds as a graduate student in the Department of Mathematics at Harvard from 1951-1954. It also documents his continued interest in the work of his dissertation advisor, Professor Richard Brauer, in the subject area of modern algebra and finite simple groups. The bulk of Reynolds' notes from 1955 through 1976 were taken at seminars and talks led by Brauer and others at Harvard and other local institutions.
